Explaining the 2 trip process
Russia requires that we take 2 trips for adoption. The first trip we spend a few days with the child and officially decide to adopt him. Then we come home and wait for a court date. We go back 4-8 weeks later, go to court, and then get to bring him home. We are anticipating that if things go well on this trip, we could be bringing him home end of July or August.
