Russia here we come!!
We're packed and ready (we think). We have snacks, all the techy equipment we could possibly need, toilet paper (just in case), gifts for the baby, and much more. We want to thank everyone again for all their postive thoughts and prayers! We can't believe we're really going! We'll post next time from Moscow. Love, Aaron & Shannon

Aaron, Shannon, and Mom are off! It was an early start to the day and the rain didn't make mom too happy since she is not too fond of flying. Aaron said he was nervous and excited at the same time. Everyone got checked in at the air port(after the dog's bite marks on Shannon's passport got flattened out for the scanner) and they didn't get too wet in the rain. I talked to them after I got back home and they were enjoying a Starbucks coffee and latte while waiting for their flight.
We were surprised to check your blog today after we returned home from vacation and to see that you are already en route to Russia! Very exciting! We'll look forward to following your trip online this week and wish you all the best as you meet your little boy. Enjoy this incredible journey!
Best wishes for a great experience! You certainly are in our thoughts. Roman followed your flight including the delay in Atlanta. Always one more unplanned blip. We'll hope this is the last.
