And we're off...

Mom dropped us off at KCI, and we're heading for Atlanta. We bought Gavin's return ticket at the counter. -- We had another minor paperwork crisis last night. We got a call from the adoption agency saying that Russia was asking for yet another document we weren't told about...a petition to waive the 10 day stay (10 day stay is typically required after the court date, but the Judge has the right to waive it). The document needed to be notorized and then apostilled by the state. The agency did that for us and had planned to send it via Delta Cargo to KCI, but the person sending it from Texas was stuck in traffic and it missed the flight. So, they sent it fedex to Atlanta....one option was to leave the ATL airport to pick it up at a fedex dropoff somewhere. But, we were able to pay a courier service to bring the document to meet us at the ATL aiport. So, we hope we can meet up with the courier, get our document, and leave Atlanta for Moscow on time. Atlanta doesn't have free wi-fi like KCI does so we may just post again when we arrive at the Marriot in Moscow.
