Monday's events...

Cathedral Square in the Kremlin

Monday afternoon we were able to take our tour of the Kremlin. It was a 3 hour tour around the grounds at the governments buildings where Putin works, cathedral square (very pretty churches), and the Kremlin armory museum (clothes from the 16th century Czars and Royalty (Peter the Great, Ivan the terrible, Catherine the great, etc), carriages elaborately designed, knight armor, various gifts from foreign diplomats 15-17 century's, and the fabrege egg collection. (Pat, we had the same tour guide from capital tours that we had when we did the moscow city tour). After the tour, we returned to our hotel and had dinner and then were soon picked up by Luda to head to the airport. Traffic was terrible and it took 1 hour 45 minutes to get to the domestic airport (different airport than our international flight).
